Oppo A60: Snapdragon 680 SoC and 50 MP Main Camera Take Center Stage

After appearing in the Google Play Console earlier this month, the Oppo A60 has made its official debut in Vietnam, signaling its imminent launch in various markets.

The Oppo A60 may share a numerical sequence with its predecessor, the A59 from December 2023, but it’s not a direct successor due to the absence of 5G support. Instead, it follows in the footsteps of the A58 4G released in July 2023.

Featuring a 6.67-inch 720×1604 90 Hz LCD touchscreen boasting 950-nit peak brightness and a 240 Hz sampling rate, the A60 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. It packs 8GB of RAM, with storage options of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2. The highlight of its camera setup is a 50 MP main shooter, accompanied by a 2 MP decorative camera, and an 8 MP selfie snapper. Keeping it all running is a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC wired charging.

The device retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14.0.1 overlay. Measuring at 165.71 x 76.02 x 7.68 mm and weighing 186g, it’s available in Vietnam at VND 5,490,000 for the 128GB variant (approximately $216 or €202) and VND 6,490,000 for the 256GB option ($256, €238). Pricing may vary upon its release in other regions.
